     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Les foules denses représentent des environnements complexes où les interactions physiques peuvent conduire à des situations dangereuses. Cette thèse développe un cadre de simulation physique pour modéliser la récupération d'équilibre humain dans les foules denses et leur rôle dans l'apparition de phénomènes large échelle. Trois approches sont proposées : une méthode de contrôle basée sur des principes biomécaniques pour simuler les stratégies de pas ; des méthodes d'apprentissage par imitation utilisant l'apprentissage par renforcement pour améliorer la généralité ; et une extension multi-agents via l'apprentissage par transfert, introduisant une heuristique pour les contacts des mains. Les résultats démontrent que notre approche reproduit les comportements observés expérimentalement, à un niveau de détail jamais exploré auparavant dans la simulation de foule, ouvrant de nouvelles perspectives pour la sécurité publique et l'urbanisme.</dcterms:abstract>
     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">Dense crowds represent complex environments where physical interactions can lead to dangerous situations. This thesis develops a physical simulation framework to model human balance recovery in dense crowds, and their role in the emergence of large-scale phenomena. Three approaches are proposed: a control method based on biomechanical principles to simulate stepping strategies; imitation learning methods using reinforcement learning to improve generality; and a multi-agent extension via transfer learning, introducing a heuristic for hand contacts. Results demonstrate that our approach reproduces experimentally observed behaviors, at a level of detail never explored before in crowd simulation, opening new perspectives for public safety and urban planning.</dcterms:abstract>
