En 2023, le droit de prescription a été accordé avec la contraception d’urgence hormonale ainsi que les vaccins du calendrier vaccinal. L’année suivante, en 2024, les pharmaciens ont été autorisés à prescrire des antibiotiques pour l’angine et la cystite, après réalisation d’un test rapide d’orientation diagnostic (TROD) positif. Ce travail a pour objectif d’analyser les raisons ayant conduit les pouvoirs publics à accorder le droit de prescription aux pharmaciens, de faire le point sur les différents médicaments qu’ils peuvent prescrire en 2026, et sous quelles conditions. Des outils ont été élaborés pour les aider dans la prise en charge des patients venant pour une prescription d’antibiotiques. Enfin, une enquête a été menée auprès des patients et pharmaciens en regards croisés afin de recueillir leur point de vue sur ces nouvelles missions. Over the past few years, the role of the community pharmacists has evolved a lot with the introduction of new pharmacy missions. In 2023, they were granted the right to prescribe emergency hormonal contraception as well as vaccines from the vaccination schedule. The following year, in 2024, pharmacists were authorized to prescribe antibiotics for tonsillitis and cystitis, after doing a rapid diagnostic orientation test with a positive result. This work aims at analyzing the reasons that led public authorities to grant pharmacists the right to prescribe medication, to take stock of the different medications they can prescribe in 2026, and under what conditions. Work tools have been developed to help them in patient care coming for a prescription of antibiotics. Finally, a survey was conducted among patients and pharmacists to gather their opinion about these new missions.
