La recherche de nouvelles options thérapeutiques est donc nécessaire, d’autant plus que la résistance bactérienne limite l’usage des antibiotiques. Dans ce contexte, les huiles végétales attirent l’attention : plusieurs études montrent qu’elles peuvent soutenir la cicatrisation grâce à leurs propriétés antimicrobiennes, anti-inflammatoires, antioxydantes et à leur capacité à favoriser la prolifération cellulaire, la synthèse de collagène et la restauration de la barrière cutanée. Le travail vise à recenser les huiles végétales dont l’effet cicatrisant a été démontré, présenter leur composition et leurs mécanismes d’action, puis analyser les études disponibles. L’objectif final est d’évaluer leur rôle potentiel dans la prise en charge des plaies et leur intégration future dans les pratiques de soin. Wounds represent a significant issue for patients and a major financial burden for public health systems. New therapeutic options are therefore needed, especially as bacterial resistance increasingly restricts the use of antibiotics. In this context, vegetable oils have gained interest: several studies show that they can support wound healing through their antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties, as well as their ability to promote cell proliferation, collagen synthesis, and restoration of the skin’s lipid barrier.This work aims to identify vegetable oils with demonstrated healing activity, describe their composition and mechanisms of action, and analyze the available studies. The ultimate goal is to assess their potential role in wound management and their possible integration into future therapeutic practices.
