     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="fr">Les sources de supercontinuum (SC) à haute puissance dans le moyen infrarouge sont cruciales pour les contre-mesures optroniques, la spectroscopie et la télédétection. Cette thèse explore la génération de SC dans la gamme 2–5 μm à partir d’un laser à fibre dopée au thulium (≈ 2 μm) en configuration Master Oscillator Power Amplifier (MOPA). Le système, constitué d’une diode à commutation de gain et de plusieurs étages d’amplification, délivre des impulsions picosecondes (10 MHz–1 GHz) avec des puissances de crête de l’ordre du kilowatt et une efficacité différentielle d’environ 26 %. La génération de SC a été démontrée dans des fibres fluorées InF₃ et ZBLAN jusqu’à 17,5 m, avec un élargissement spectral de 2 μm à 3,3–3,5 μm et un rendement de 10–80 %. L’augmentation du diamètre du cœur a amélioré le couplage et l’accord de phase, favorisant une bande plus large. Une source nanoseconde Ho:LLF a confirmé l’efficacité du mécanisme d’instabilité de modulation pour des impulsions plus longues. Enfin, une technique d’épissure par fusion multistade entre fibres de silice et de fluorure, optimisée dans une fenêtre de ±2,5 °C, a permis d’obtenir 75 % de transmission et une résistance supérieure à 110 g, garantissant la robustesse des systèmes tout-fibre dans le moyen infrarouge.</dcterms:abstract>
     <dcterms:abstract xml:lang="en">High-power mid-infrared supercontinuum (SC) sources are essential for optronic countermeasures, LIDAR, spectroscopy, and remote sensing. This work investigates broadband SC generation in the 2–5 μm range using a thulium-doped fiber laser operating around 2 μm in a Master Oscillator Power Amplifier (MOPA) configuration. The system, based on a gain-switched diode seed and multi-stage amplification, delivered picosecond pulses with adjustable repetition rates (10 MHz–1 GHz), kilowatt-level peak powers, and approximately 26% slope efficiency. Supercontinuum generation was experimentally achieved in indium and zirconium fluoride fibers (InF₃, ZBLAN) with lengths up to 17.5 m, yielding spectra from approximately 2 μm to 3.3–3.5 μm and conversion efficiencies between 10% and 80%. Slightly increasing the fiber core diameter improved coupling and phase matching near the 2 μm pump, enhancing the bandwidth. A complementary experiment with a Ho:LLF nanosecond laser confirmed modulation-instability-driven SC under longer pulse durations. Finally, a multistage fusion splicing technique between silica and fluoride fibers, optimized within ±2.5 °C, achieved 75% transmission and mechanical strength exceeding 110 g, enabling robust all-fiber mid-IR systems for spectroscopy, sensing, and defense applications.</dcterms:abstract>
